The following are the featuresand how you may activate them.The special feature modes can only be activated while the display is showing the time of day. They remain in thecontrol’s memory until the steps are repeated.when the display shows your choice, touch the Start/On pad. The special features will remain in memory aftera power failure.NOTE: The Sabbath feature and the Thermostat Adjustment feature are also Special Features, but they areaddressed separately in the following sections.Special features of your oven control.12 Hour ShutoffWith this feature, should you forget and leavethe oven on, the control will automatically turnoff the oven after 12 hours during bakingfunctions or after 3 hours during a broilfunction.If you wish to turn OFF this feature, followthe steps below.Touch the Bake and Broil Hi/Lo pads atthe same time until the display shows SF.Touch the Clock pad. The display willshow ON (12 hour shutoff). Touch theClock pad repeatedly until the displayshows OFF (no shutoff).Touch the Start/On pad to activatethe no shut-off and leave the controlset in this special features mode.BakeTemp RecallClockBroilHi/LoStartOn+Adjust the oven thermostat—Do it yourself!You may find that your new oven cooks differently than the one it replaced. use your new oven for a few weeks to becomemore familiar with it. If you still think your new oven is too hot or too cold, you can adjust the thermostat yourself.Do not use thermometers, such as those found in grocery stores, to check the temperature setting of your oven.These thermometers may vary 20–40 degrees.NOTE: This adjustment will not affect the broiling or the self-cleaning temperatures. The adjustment will beretained in memory after a power failure.To Adjust the ThermostatTouch the Bake and Broil Hi/Lo padsat the same time until the displayshows SF.Touch the Bake pad. A two-digitnumber shows in the display.The oven temperature can be adjustedup to (+) 35°F hotter or (–) 35°F cooler.Touch the + pad to increase thetemperature in 1-degree increments.Touch the – pad to decrease thetemperature in 1-degree increments.When you have made the adjustment,touch the Start/On pad to go back tothe time of day display. Use your ovenas you would normally.NOTE: This adjustment will not affect thebroiling or self-cleaning temperatures. It willbe retained in memory after a power failure.BakeTemp RecallBroilHi/LoStartOn+BakeTemp RecallEnergy Saver Mode (on some models)To save energy, you can turn off the timeof day clock and the display when therange is not in use.Press and hold the + and – pads at thesame time to enable or disable thisfeature. This will turn the display on or off.NOTE: The display will reset after a poweroutage.Control Lockout (on some models)Your control will allow you to lock out thetouch pads so they cannot be activatedwhen touched.To lock/unlock the controls:Touch the + and - pads at the sametime for 3 seconds, until the displayshows LOC ON.To unlock the control, touch the + and -pads at the same time for 3 seconds,until the display shows LOC OFF.When this feature is on and the touchpads are touched, the control will beepand show LOC ON.• The control lockout mode affects alltouch pads.
