It willnot be possible to unlatch the oven dooruntil the temperature drops below the locktemperature.The oven shuts off automatically when theclean cycle is complete, and 0:00 will flashin the display.StartOnSelfCleanStartTimeAfter a Clean CycleYou may notice some white ash in theoven. Wipe it up with a damp cloth afterthe oven cools.If white spots remain, remove them witha soap-filled steel wool pad and rinsethoroughly with a vinegar and watermixture.These deposits are usually a salt residuethat cannot be removed by the clean cycle.If the oven is not clean after one cleancycle, repeat the cycle.■ You cannot set the oven for cooking untilthe oven is cool enough for the door tobe unlatched.■ While the oven is self-cleaning, youcan press the Clock pad to display thetime of day. To return to the cleancountdown, press the Self Clean pad.■ Apply a small amount of vegetable oilto a paper towel and wipe the edges ofthe oven racks with the paper towel. Donot spray with Pam® or other lubricantsprays.To Stop a Clean CycleTouch the Clear/Off pad.Wait until the oven has cooled below thelocking temperature to unlatch the door.You will not be able to open the door rightaway unless the oven has cooled belowthe locking temperature.
