GEAppliances.comOven Light Replacement (on some models)SHOCK OR BURN HAZARD: Before replacing oven light bulb, disconnectthe electrical power to the range at the main fuse or circuit breaker panel.Failure to do so may result in electric shock or burn.WARNINGBURN HAZARD: The glass cover and bulb should be removed when cool.Touching hot glass with bare hands or a damp cloth can cause burns.CAUTION25To remove the cover:Hold a hand under the cover so it doesn’tfall when released. With fingers of thesame hand, firmly push back the wirecover holder. Lift off the cover.Do not remove any screws to remove thecover.Replace bulb with a 40-watt householdappliance bulb.To replace the cover:Place it into groove of the light receptacle.Pull wire forward to the center of the coveruntil it snaps into place.Connect electrical power to the range.For models JBS27DI and JBS27RI: Replaceoven lamp with 240 volts lamp only.Wire cover holderThe stainless steel handles (on somemodels) can be cleaned with a commerciallyavailable stainless steel cleaner. Cleanerswith oxalic acid such as Bar Keepers FriendSoft Cleanser™ will remove rust, tarnish, andsmall blemishes. Use only a liquid cleanserfree of grit and rub in the direction of thebrush lines with a damp soft sponge. Do notuse appliance wax or polish on the stainlesssteel.Do not wipe the handle with a soiled dishcloth or wet towel. Do not use scouringpads, powdered cleaners, bleach or cleanerscontaining bleach because these productscan scratch and weaken the finish.Stainless Steel Handles (on some models)
