How to operate your dishwasherII ISTEP 1. Load your dishwasherwith dishes, silverware, pots, pans,bowls, etc. according toinstructions on pages 8 and 9.STEP 2. Add detergent to thedetergent dispenser. Make sure theCycle Indicator Dial is at OFFposition before adding detergent.(See pages 6 and 7.)Use rinse aid agent to help preventspotting. Occasionally check toinsure that rinse agent container isat least half full. (See page 6.)STEP 3. Select drying option.HEATEDDRYINGNO HEATDRYINGHEATED DRYING. Turns thedrying heater on for fast drying.NO HEAT DRYING. Turns thedrying heater off to save energy.Dishes will dry naturally over alonger period such as overnight.If you need your dishes sooner,open the dishwasher door after thecycle is complete to reduce thenatural drying time.STEP 4. WASH HEAT BOOSTOption.WASH HEAT BOOST. Thiscycle will be extended for 2 Iminutes while the dishwasherautomatically heats the water forgood washing and drying. Theentering water must be at least120°F.ENERGY SAVER (NO HEATBOOST). When this option isselected the entering water must beat least 140°F. To test watertemperature, see page 6.STEP 5. Select the cycle and startthe dishwasher.If your dishwasher drains into afood waste disposer, operate thedisposer until it is empty beforestarting the dishwasher. (See CycleSelection Hints on next page. )l For POTSCRUBBER,NORMAL WASH and I.IGHTWASH cycles:POT- NORMAL LIGHTSCRUBBER WASH WASHc. Slowly turn Cycle IndicatorDial to ON position to start thecycle. You will hear the motorstart.
