The fan will stop when the door is opened, but the heatwill not turn off.NOTE: Foods that spoil easily—such as milk, eggs, fish, stuffings, poultry and pork—should not be allowed to sitfor more than 1 hour before or after cooking. Room temperature promotes the growth of harmful bacteria. Be surethat the oven light is off because heat from the bulb will speed harmful bacteria growth.How to Set an Immediate Start and Automatic StopThe oven will turn on immediately and cook for aselected length of time. At the end of the cookingtime, the oven will turn off automatically.Make sure the clock shows the correct timeof day.Press the CONVECTION BAKE MULTI/1 RACK pad once (CONVECTIONBAKE MULTI mode) for multi-rackconvection baking. This mode isused for cooking food items onmore than one rack (i.e., 2, 3 ormore racks) at the same time inconvection bake. See Multi-RackBaking section for more information.Press the CONVECTION BAKE MULTI/1 RACK pad twice (CONVECTION BAKE1 RACK mode) for one rackconvection baking. This mode is usedfor cooking food items on only onerack in convection bake.Press the CONVECTION ROAST padfor convection roasting.Press the number pads to set thedesired oven temperature.Press the COOK TIME pad.NOTE: If your recipe requires preheating, you mayneed to add addtional time to the length of thecooking time.Press the number pads to set thedesired length of cooking time. Theminimum cooking time you can setis 1 minute. The oven temperaturethat you set and the cooking time thatyou entered will be in the display.Press the START pad.The display will show the changingtemperature (starting at 100°F) and thecooking time. The display starts changingonce the temperature reaches 100°F.The oven will continue to cook for theprogrammed amount of time, then shutoff automatically, unless the WARM featurewas set. See the How to Set the Oven forWarming section.Press the CLEAR/OFF pad to clearthe display if necessary. Removethe food from the oven. Remember,even though the oven turns offautomatically, food left in the ovenwill continue cooking after the oventurns off.
