q LEVELING THE RANGE1. Remove the storagedrawer, broiler draweror kick panel.2. Use a 3/16” open-endor socket wrench to backout both rear levelinglegs approximately twoturns.3. Use a 1%” open-endor adjustable wrench toback out the frontleveling legs two turns.4. Install the ovenshelves in the oven andposition the rangewhere it will be installed.5. Check for levelness by placing a spirit level or acup, partially filled with water, on one of the ovenracks. E using a spirit level, take two readings—withthe level placed diagonally first in one direction andthen the other.6. Adjust the leveling legs until the range is level.7. After the range is level, slide the range away fromthe wall so that the Anti-Tip device can be installed.q INSTALLING THE ANTI-TIP DEVICEWARNING:l Range must be secured with an approvedAnti-Tip device.l Unless properly installed, the range could betipped by you or a child standing, sitting orleaning on an open door.l After installing the Anti-Tip device, verify thatit is in place by carefully attempting to tilt therange forward.l This range has been designed to meet allrecognized industry tip standards for all normalconditions.l The use of this device does not precludetipping of the range when not properly installed.l If the Anti-Tip device supplied with the rangedoes not fit this application, use the universalAnti-Tip device WB02X7909.1. Mark the wall where the NGHT EDGE of therange is to be located. Be sure to allow for thecountertop overhang if you intend to install therange next to cabinets.2. hcate the outside edge of the device 2%”toward the center of the range from the markededge of the range.3. Using the device as a template, mark theposition of the hole for the screw.4. For wood construction, drill a pilot hole at anangle of 20 degrees from the horizontal. A nail orawl may be used if a drill is not available.Mount the kti-Tip device with the screw provided.For cement or concrete construction, youwill need a 1/4” x 1X” lag bolt and a 1/2” O.D.sleeve anchor, which are not provided. Drillthe recommended size hole for the hardware.Install the sleeve anchor into the drilled hole andthen install the lag bolt through the device.
