It cannot be removed if it is baked on.Control KnobsClean up spatters with a damp cloth.Remove heavier soil with warm, soapywater.Do not use abrasives of any kind on the controlpanel.The control knobs may be removed foreasier cleaning. To remove a knob, pull itstraight off the stem. Wash the knobs insoap and water but do not soak.Pull the knob straight off the stem.Burner AssemblyThe burner assemblies should be washedregularly and, of course, after spillovers.Turn all controls off before removing burner parts.The burner grates, burner heads andburner caps can be removed for easycleaning. Removing them gives youaccess to the burner bowls.The electrode of the spark igniter isexposed beyond the surface of theburner bowl. When cleaning the burnerbowl, be careful not to snag the electrodeof the spark igniter with your cleaningcloth. Damage to the igniter could occur.To avoid snagging a cloth on the sparkigniter, leave the burner heads in placewhen cleaning the burner bowls.Be careful not to push in any cooktopcontrols while cleaning the burner bowls.A slight electrical shock might resultwhich could cause you to knock over hotcookware.Wash burner parts with an all-purposenon-abrasive cleaner and warm water.Soak stubborn soil.
