Are there any foods I can’tTEMP COOK?A. Yes. Delicate butter icings, icecream, frozen whipped toppings,etc., soften rapidly at warm temp-eratures. Batters and doughs aswell as frozen foods are alsq diffi-cult to cook precisely with theprobe. It is best to TIME COOKthese foods.Q. After I followed the steps andtouched START, a signal soundedand oven did not start. What iswrong?A. If you set the temperature eitherbelow 80° or greater than 199° theoven will not start. To re-enter,touch CLEAR/OFF pad and beginsteps again.Q. Oven sounded and would notstart although I entered the temp-erature correctly. What is wrong?A. If you have not securely seatedthe end of the probe into thereceptacle in the oven wall, if youtouch TEMP COOK and have for-gotten to use the probe or if theactual food temperature is higherthan set temperature, oven willsound and not start.Q. Can I leave my probe in theoven if.it’s not inserted in the food?A. No. If the probe is left inside theoven, touching the oven wall, andnot inserted in food, you may dam-age the oven.Q.
