Failure to do socould result in serious injury or death.A When preparing cooktop opening, make surethe inside of the cabinet and the cooktop donot interfere with each other. (See section onpreparing the opening.)B Remove packaging materials and literaturepackage from the cooktop before beginninginstallation.C Be sure to place all literature, Owner’s Manual,Installations, etc. in a safe place for futurereference.D Make sure you have all the tools and materialsyou need before starting the installation of thecooktop.E Your home must provide the adequate electricalservice needed to safely and properly useyour cooktop. (Refer to section on electricalrequirements.)F When installing your cooktop in your home, makesure all local codes and ordinances are followedexactly as stated.G Make sure the wall coverings, countertop andcabinets around the cooktop can withstand heat(up to 200°F) generated by the cooktop.H Installing cooktop in combinationwith other products.Both products must be installed according totheir specific product installation instructions.Consideration must be given the separateelectrical requirements and locations:Over one or two wall ovens:• Only certain models may be installed over wallovens. The wall oven and cooktop will bothhave a label stating which models are approvedin combination.Over a Microwave:• See microwave installation instructions for howto install a microwave under a cooktop.
