Room temperature promotes the growth of harmful bacteria. Be sure that the ovenlight is off because heat from the bulb will speed harmful bacteria growth.How to Set an Immediate Start and Automatic StopThe oven will turn on immediately and cookfor a selected length of time. At the end of thecooking time the oven will turn off automatically.Make sure the clock shows the correct time ofday.Touch the BAKE pad.Using the + or – pad, enter the desiredtemperature.Touch the COOKING TIME pad.NOTE: If your recipe requires preheating, youmay need to add additional time to the length ofthe cooking time.Using the + or – pad, enter the desiredbaking time. The maximum time you canenter in minutes is 59. Cooking times morethan 59 minutes should be changed tohours and minutes. For example, enter 90minutes as 1 hour, 30 minutes.The oven temperature and the cooking timethat you entered will be displayed.Touch the START pad.The display shows the oven temperature thatyou set and the cooking time countdown. Thedisplay starts changing once the temperaturereaches 100°F.The oven will continue to cook for theprogrammed amount of time, then shut offautomatically, unless the Cook and Holdfeature was set. See the Special features of youroven control section.Touch the CLEAR/OFF pad to clear the display.How to Set a Delayed Start and Automatic StopYou can set the oven control to delay-start theoven, cook for a specific length of time and thenturn off automatically.Make sure the clock shows the correct time ofday.Touch the BAKE pad.Using the + or – pad, enter the desiredtemperature.Touch the COOKING TIME pad.NOTE: If your recipe requires preheating, youmay need to add additional time to the length ofthe cooking time.Using the + or – pad, enter the desiredbaking time.
