Whenfollowing these guidelines, be sure to test forproper airflow direction into the draft hood ofa naturally vented gas furnace or water heater.This can be checked by striking a match,blowing it out, and while it is still smoking,holding it near the draft hood relief opening.If smoke is drawn into the opening, vent flowis in the proper direction.
