Dishwasher InstallationSTEP 10: SLIDE DISHWASHER THREE-FOURTHSOF THE WAY INTO CABINETIMP0 RTANT - Donotpushagainst front panelwithknees. Damage will occun• Grasp the sides of thefront panel and slidedishwasher into theopening a few inchesat a time.Do not push againstfront door panel withknee. Damage to thedoor panel will occur. Figure Q• As you proceed, pull the drain hose through the opening under thesink. Stop pushing when the dishwasher extends about 6 inchesforward of adjacent cabinets.Hake sure drain hose is not kinked under or behind the dishwasher.Hake certain the house wiring, drain line and water line do notinterfere with components under dishwasher.STEP 11: INSTALL TRIM PIECESIn this step you will need the trim pieces set aside in Step 1.Top TrimTrimTop ViewSideTrimSide Trim Figure RFully seat to tub flangerub frameSTEP 12: INSTALL MOUNTING BRACKETSYou will need the mounting brackets and 2 #8 hex-head screws setaside in Step !.You must install the mounting brackets onto the dishwasher tubframe top or sides prior to sliding the dishwasher into place underthe countertop. This dishwasher is capable of a true-flush installationat a 24" deep opening. The mounting brackets have severalavailable attachment positions to accommodate different cabinetconstructions.Install mounting brackets on top if the underside ofcountertop is wood or wood-like materiel that accepts screws:IMPORTANT - AfterinstalUngbracketsandbeforeclosing the dishwasher door, adjust the brackets by bendingthem up us needed, so that they do not contact the top of thedishwasher door end cause damage.Top Mounting#8 Bracket ___.ScrewDistub frame Bend and break hereafter installing ifcounter has a shortoverhang.Figure S. If you are installing the dishwasher under a counter with a shortoverhang, the countertop brackets may extend beyond the edgeof the counter. If this is the case, remove the excess length byrepeatedly bending the brackets at the front notch only until theybreak.Install mounting brackets on sides if the countertop isgranite or similar material that will not accept wood screws:Break off front portion of the tab with pliers at the location shown,prior to attaching to dishwasher.Position the left-hand side bracket as shown. Repeat with the rightbracket.Door/ HandleSelect the top trim piece (See Figure R)and line up center to the toplatch. Press the trim piece onto the tub flange moving from one sideto the other.Select the left trim piece (see Figure R).Align top edge with the toptrim and press it onto the left side of the tub flange moving from thetop to the bottom.
