– 18 –Door HandleThe door handles allow access into the fresh foodand freezer compartments. They are frontmounted with 1 Torx head screw.1. With a small flat-blade screwdriver, slide thehandle trim down and pull it out.2. Remove the lower Torx head screw.3. Lift the handle in and upward motion until itdisengages the locking tabs. Pull the handleoutward to remove it.Door GasketThe door gasket is a molded gasket set into achannel located in the door liner.1. Open the door.2. Grasp the gasket and pull in an outwardmotion until the molded gasket separates fromthe door liner.Fresh Food Compartment Quick AccessDoorThe fresh food compartment allows access to thefresh food compartment without opening the freshfood door.1. Open the quick access door and remove thehinge Torx head screws (2), located on eachside of the door.2. With a small flat-blade screwdriver, remove thedoor frame and door frame assembly.3. Remove the gasket and slide the door out ofthe frame.4. The quick access door also has an interlockswitch located at the top right-hand side of theinterior frame. Remove the Phillips screw andslide the switch assembly down and out.5. Disconnect the wires to the switch and removeit.
