6About TurboCool.™How it WorksTurboCool ™ rapidly cools the refrigeratorcompartment in order to more quicklycool foods. Use TurboCool when addinga large amount of food to the refrigeratorcompartment, putting away foods after theyhave been sitting out at room temperature orwhen putting away warm leftovers. It can alsobe used if the refrigerator has been withoutpower for an extended period.Once activated, the compressor will turnon immediately and the fans will cycle on andoff at high speed as needed for eight hours.The compressor will continue to run until therefrigerator compartment coolsto approximately 34°F (1°C), then it will cycleon and off to maintain this setting. After8 hours, or if TurboCool is pressed again,the refrigerator compartment will returnto the original setting.How to UseTactile LED Dispenser Control:How to UsePress TurboCool. The TurboCool temperaturedisplay will show Tc and the LED will be activated.After TurboCool is complete, the TurboCoolindicator light will go out.NOTES: The refrigerator temperature cannot bechanged during TurboCool.The freezer temperature is not affectedduring TurboCool.When opening the refrigerator door duringTurboCool, the fans will continue to run ifthey have cycled on.Touch-LED Dispenser Controls:Press SET FEATURES. The refrigeratortemperature display will show TurboCooland/or TC. Press ON/OFF.After TurboCool is complete, the refrigeratorcompartment will return to the original setting.NOTES:The refrigerator temperature cannot bechanged during TurboCool.The freezer temperature is not affected duringTurboCool.When opening the refrigerator door duringTurboCool, the fans will continue to run if theyhave cycled on.About ClimateKeeper2.™ (on some models)How it WorksThe ClimateKeeper2 ™ is the industry’smost advanced refrigeration system,delivering optimum temperature andhumidity performance to keep food gardenfresh longer and reduce freezer burn.The ClimateKeeper2 system features twoevaporators—one for the refrigerator andone for the freezer.This provides two separate cooling systems,and separates the airflow between the freshfood and freezer compartments duringnormal cooling operations.*This ensures that the humidity levels inthe fresh food compartment are significantlyhigher than in a conventional system,**allowing fresh produce and other unsealedfoods to retain their moisture content andfreshness longer. Moisture sensitive foodssuch as fresh fruit, salads, rice, etc., can nowbe stored on open shelves without excessivemoisture loss. Due to the higher humidity inthe refrigerator, you may on occasionexperience fog or small amounts of moisturein the refrigerator compartment. This isnormal and may come and go as differentfood loads and environmental conditionschange. Wipe dry with a paper towel ifdesired.The separate airflow system minimizesthe mixing of air between the twocompartments, which reduces fresh foododor transfer to improve the taste of ice.The ClimateKeeper2 system also reducesthe number of defrosting cycles in the freezerevaporator, thereby reducing freezer burn.*Freezer air is used in the CustomCoolfeature.**Testing shows a higher level of humidity inthe Fresh Food section in ClimateKeeper2refrigerators versus conventional units.About Set Features.This pad is used to select the followingfeatures: TurboCool, Quick Ice, Door Alarmand Water Filter.Pressing SET FEATURES repeatedly will cyclethrough all of the available features and thenexit the mode. If no key is pressed, the modewill exit and return to displaying featurescurrently set.OR
