6About TurboCool.™How it WorksTurboCool ™ rapidly cools the refrigeratorcompartment in order to more quicklycool foods. Use TurboCool™ when addinga large amount of food to the refrigeratorcompartment, putting away foods after theyhave been sitting out at room temperature orwhen putting away warm leftovers. It can alsobe used if the refrigerator has been withoutpower for an extended period.Once activated, the compressor will turnon immediately and the fans will cycle onand off at high speed as needed for eighthours. The compressor will continue to rununtil the refrigerator compartment cools toapproximately 34°F (1°C), then it will cycle onand off to maintain this setting. After 8 hours, orif TurboCool™ is pressed again, the refrigeratorcompartment will return to the original setting.How to UseTactile LED Dispenser Control:Press TurboCool™. The TurboCool temperaturedisplay will show Tc and the LED will be activated.After TurboCool™ is complete, the TurboCool™indicator light will go out.NOTES: The refrigerator temperature cannot bechanged during TurboCool™.The freezer temperature is not affectedduring TurboCool™.When opening the refrigerator door duringTurboCool™, the fans will continue to run ifthey have cycled on.Touch-LED Dispenser Controls:Press SET FEATURES. The refrigeratortemperature display will show TurboCool™and/or TC. Press ON/OFF.After TurboCool™ is complete, the refrigeratorcompartment will return to the original setting.NOTES:The refrigerator temperature cannot be changedduring TurboCool™.The freezer temperature is not affected duringTurboCool™.When opening the refrigerator door duringTurboCool™, the fans will continue to run if theyhave cycled on.About ClimateKeeper2.™ (on some models)How it WorksThe ClimateKeeper2 ™ is the industry’s mostadvanced refrigeration system, deliveringoptimum temperature and humidityperformance to keep food garden fresh longerand reduce freezer burn.The ClimateKeeper2™ system features twoHYDSRUDWRUV³RQHIRUWKHUHIULJHUDWRUDQGRQHfor the freezer.This provides two separate cooling systems,and separates the airflow between the freshfood and freezer compartments during normalcooling operations.*This ensures that the humidity levels in thefresh food compartment are significantly higherthan in a conventional system,** allowing freshproduce and other unsealed foods to retaintheir moisture content and freshness longer.Moisture sensitive foods such as fresh fruit,salads, rice, etc., can now be stored on openshelves without excessive moisture loss.Due to the higher humidity in the refrigerator,you may on occasion experience fog orsmall amounts of moisture in the refrigeratorcompartment. This is normal and maycome and go as different food loads andenvironmental conditions change. Wipe drywith a paper towel if desired.The separate airflow system minimizes themixing of air between the two compartments,which reduces fresh food odor transfer toimprove the taste of ice.The ClimateKeeper2™ system also reducesthe number of defrosting cycles in the freezerevaporator, thereby reducing freezer burn.*Freezer air is used in the CustomCool feature.**Testing shows a higher level of humidity inthe Fresh Food section in ClimateKeeper2™refrigerators versus conventional units.About Set Features.This pad is used to select the following features:TurboCool, Quick Ice, Door Alarm and WaterFilter.Pressing SET FEATURES repeatedly will cyclethrough all of the available features and thenexit the mode. If no key is pressed, the modewill exit and return to displaying featurescurrently set.OR
