There is one small, onemedium, one large and one extra large burnerhead.Oval (Center) Burner Head/Cap AssemblyPlace the oval (center) head/cap assemblyover the electrode on the cooktop.CapsPlace the matching size caps onto the burnerbases or heads.Make sure that the heads and caps arereplaced in the correct locations.GratesPlace the left, right and center grates on thecooktop. These grates are position specific.The undersides of the left and right gratesare marked “LEFT FRONT” and “RIGHT FRONT.”Place the middle grate with its bowed fronttoward the front of the range.CAUTION:Do not operate the burnerwithout all burner parts in place.Check Ignition of Surface BurnersOperation of all cooktop burners should be checkedafter the range and gas supply lines have beencarefully checked for leaks.Electric IgnitionSelect a top burner knob and simultaneouslypush in and turn to LITE position. You will heara clicking sound indicating proper operation ofthe spark module. Once the air has been purgedfrom the supply lines, burners should light within4 seconds. After burner lights, rotate knob out ofthe LITE position.
