How to Use the Minute/Second TimerThe MIN/SEC TIMER has threetiming functions:l It operates as a minute timer.l It can be set to delay cooking.l It can be used as a hold settingafter defrosting.The MIN/SEC TIMER operateswithout microwave energy.How to Time a 3-MinutePhone Call1. Touch MIN/SEC TIMER pad.The display shows “: O“ and“ENTER TIME” flashes.2. Touch number pads 3,0 and O(for 3 minutes and no seconds).Display shows “3:00” and“TIME” flashes.3. Touch START pad. When time is up, oven signals,flashes “End,” and display showstime of day.Programming a HoldingTimeThe Minute/Second Timer canalso be used to program a holdingtime between microwave cookingfunctions. Here’s how to do it:Step 1: Take casserole from freezerand place in oven.Step 2: Touch TIME DEFROST pad.The display shows “: O“ and“ENTER DEF TIME” flashes.Step 3: Touch pads 1, 5,0 and O for15 minutes defrosting time. “15:00”appears on display.
