Thm numbered temperaturecontrol to OFF and pull off knob.~ Groovedfl#iaih-3. Pull bottom of light panel downabout 1/4“-just enough to disengagelip at rear from grooves in retainerson rear wall.4. Lift panel to disengage top frompins on sidewalls; remove panel.After replacing with same sizebulb, reinstall panel (hang top onpins; pull bottomdown, push itback and release it to let lip engagegrooves in retainers).Replacetemperaturecontrol knob in OFFposition, turnit to previous setting,and plug refrigeratorback in.In Freezer Compartment1. Unplug refrigerator.III2. Remove-shelfjust below lightshield. (Shelf will be easier toremoveif it is emptied first.)3. Pull plastic light shield towardyou. (It will bend to free tabs fromgrooves.)After replacing with same sizebulb, reinstall shield and shelf andplug refrigerator back in.In Refreshment Center1. Unplug refrigerator.2. Open fresh food compartmentdoor, remove top Rxta-Bin and raiseRefreshment Center inner door.3. Press sides of flexible lightshield to release locking tabs andallow the shield to swing down.4. Unscrew burned-out bulb andreplace it with night-light bulb ofsame wattage.5. Place rear tab of light shield intodoor and rotate shield up until tabslock into slots above.6. Plug refrigerator back in.When You Goon VacationFor extended vacations orabsences, shut off power torefrigerator, turn the numberedcontrol to OFF, clean interior w ithbaking soda solution of onetablespoon of soda to one quart ofwater.
