Consumer Support Troubleshooting TipsOperating Instructions Safety InstructionsInstallation InstructionsReplacing the light bulbs.Setting either or both controls to 0 does not remove power to the light circuit.Refrigerator Compartment—Upper LightUnplug the refrigerator.The bulb is located at the top of thecompartment, inside the dome lightshield. To remove the shield, place yourfinger in the pocket at the back of theshield. Pull the shield forward and down.After replacing the bulb with anappliance bulb of the same or lowerwattage, replace the light shield.Plug the refrigerator back in.Freezer CompartmentUnplug the refrigerator.Remove the shelf just above the lightshield. (The shelf will be easier toremove if it is emptied first.) On somemodels, a screw at the top of the lightshield will need to be removed.To remove the light shield, press in onthe sides, and lift up and out. On somemodels, lift the light shield up and pullit out.Replace the bulb with an appliancebulb of the same or lower wattage,and reinstall the light shield. Whenreinstalling the light shield, makesure the top tabs snap securelyinto place. Replace the screw (onsome models).Reinstall the shelf and plug therefrigerator back in.16DispenserUnplug the refrigerator.The bulb is located on thedispenser under the control panel.Remove the light bulb by turningit counterclockwise.Replace the bulb with a bulbof the same size and wattage.Plug the refrigerator back in.PocketRefrigerator Compartment—Lower LightThis light is located above the top drawer.Unplug the refrigerator.Lift the light shield up and pull it out.After replacing the bulb with anappliance bulb of the same or lowerwattage, replace the shield.Plug the refrigerator back in.
