Thecooking times specified refer to a pre-heatedappliance.‒ The values specified are intended as a guide. Startwith the lowest temperature. A higher temperaturecan be selected next time, if required. A lowertemperature results in more even browning.‒ The values given refer to average quantities for fourpeople. If you would like to prepare more food, youshould allow for a longer cooking time.‒ Use the cookware specified. If you use othercookware, cooking times may be longer or shorter.‒ You can use any heat-resistant cookware. Place thecookware in the centre of the wire rack. For largeroasts, you can also use the grill tray or glass dish.‒ Do not place too many items close together on wireracks or baking trays. This is the only way to ensureoptimal heat circulation.‒ To prepare bulky food items, you can remove theside slide-in rack. Place the wire rack directly ontothe bottom of the cooking compartment and placethe food or roasting dish onto the wire rack. Do notplace the food or roasting dish directly onto theenamel bottom of the cooking compartment.‒ Open the door of the preheated oven for a shorttime only when placing food inside the cookingcompartment.‒ The values given for the level refer to the rack level(counting from the bottom) in appliances with fourrack levels. The values in brackets refer toappliances with five rack levels.‒ Once you have taken glass cookware out of theoven, set it down on a dry trivet or heat-proof mat;never set it down on a cold or wet surface.Otherwise, the glass may crack.‒ Some operating modes are not available on all ovenmodels or are only available as an optionalaccessory.Vegetables▯ Oven-roasted or oven-baked vegetables are a goodalternative to pan-fried vegetables.
