Use detergent or other cleaning agents withhot water. Thoroughly rinse and dry.2. Never operate the pilot or burner with an empty fry tank.It will only take a few minutes to ruin the tank and voidthe warranty.3. If the fryer is equipped with a cold-rolled steel fry tank, and is not to be filled immediately after cleaning, coatthe entire tank surface with shortening or cooking oil toprevent rusting.Fryer BurnerThe burner used in Starfire Range-Match Series Fryersis a patented design which requires no primary air; soadjustment of primary air is not possible. When the propergas is supplied at the proper pressure, and the ceramictargets are properly adjusted, combustion will begin abouteven with the bottom of the ceramics. The characteristicsound is a low roar, similar to a blow-torch.NEVER throttle down the incoming gas in an effort to makethe flame burn directly on the orifice.Lighting Instructions1.
