The appliance and its individual shut-off (supplied byothers) must be disconnected from the gas supply pipingsystem during any pressure testing of that system atpressures in excess of 1/2 PSIG (3.45 KPA). Please be aware: required restraint is attached to abracket, (which is located on the rear caster closest tothe gas connection), and if disconnection of the restraintis necessary, be sure to reconnect the device after theappliance has been returned to its original position.Appliances Equipped with LegsRaise the front of the appliance and block. Do not lay theappliance on its back. Position a leg insert in leg retaineropening and tap upward until the insert seats at the collarflange. Repeat leg insert installation for the other threelegs and adjust all four legs to the same height. Legs can befurther adjusted to level the appliance and to compensatefor uneven flooring.INSTALLATION ContinuedVentilation and Air SupplyProper ventilation is highly essential for optimumperformance. The ideal method of ventilating open-topequipment is the use of a properly designed canopy whichshould extend six inches, (152mm), beyond all sides of theappliance(s) and six feet, six inches, (1981mm), above thefloor.A strong exhaust will create a vacuum in the room. For anexhaust vent to work properly, replace air must enter theroom. The amount of air that enters must equal the amountexhausted.All gas burners and pilots need sufficient air to operate.
