SwitchOFF your radio before boarding anaircraft or check the airline rules.Blasting Areas–To avoid interferingwith blasting operations, turn yourradio OFF when in a “blasting area”or in areas posted: “Turn off two-wayradio.” Obey all signs and instructions.Potentially Explosive Atmospheres–Turn your radio OFF and do notremove your battery when you are inany area with a potentially explosiveatmosphere. Obey all signs andinstructions. Sparks from your batteryin such areas could cause an explosionor fire resulting in bodily injury or evendeath.Areas with a potentially explosiveatmosphere are often, but not alwaysclearly marked.
