Also allows you to accessthe dash cam viewfinder and the driver assistance settings.Change Route: allows you to re-route or skip locations in yourroute.Up Ahead: displays upcoming locations along the route, or theroad on which you are travelling (Up ahead, page 13).Turns: displays a list of upcoming turns in your route (Viewingturns and directions, page 6).Trip Data: displays customisable trip data, such as speed ormileage (Viewing trip data from the map, page 13).Volume: adjusts the master audio volume.Brightness: adjusts the screen brightness.Phone: displays a list of recent phone calls from your connectedphone, and displays in-call options while a phone call isactive (Using in-call options, page 16).LiveTrack: allows you to start and stop LiveTrack sharing(LiveTrack, page 19).Traffic: displays traffic conditions along your route or in yourarea (Viewing upcoming traffic, page 14).Weather: displays weather conditions for your area.photoLive: displays live traffic cameras from your photoLivesubscription (photoLive traffic cameras, page 21).Report Camera: allows you to report a speed or red lightcamera. This tool is available only when you have speed orred light camera data on your device and you have an activeconnection to the Smartphone Link app (Pairing with yourphone and connecting to Smartphone Link, page 14).Viewing a map tool1 From the map, select .2 Select a map tool.The map tool appears in a panel at the edge of the map.3 When you have finished using the map tool, select .Enabling map toolsBy default, only the most commonly used map tools are enabledin the map tools menu. You can add up to 12 tools to the menu.1 From the map, select > .2 Select the tick box next to each tool to add.3 Select Save.Up aheadThe Up Ahead tool provides information about upcominglocations along your route or the road on which you aretravelling. You can view upcoming points of interest, such asrestaurants, petrol stations, or roadside service. When travellingon a motorway, you can also view information and availableservices for upcoming exits and cities, similar to the informationon motorway road signs.You can customise three categories to show in the Up Aheadtool.Viewing upcoming locations1 From the map, select > Up Ahead.2 Select an option:• To view the next upcoming location in each category,select , if necessary.• To view information and available services for upcomingmotorway exits or cities, select .NOTE: this option is available only while you are travellingon a motorway, or when your route includes a motorway.3 Select an item to view a list of locations for that category,exit, or city.Customising the up ahead categoriesYou can change the location categories that appear in the UpAhead tool.1 From the map, select > Up Ahead.2 Select a category.3 Select .4 Select an option:• To move a category up or down in the list, select and dragthe arrow next to the category name.• To change a category, select the category.• To create a custom category, select a category, selectCustom Search, and enter the name of a business orcategory.5 Select Done.Trip informationViewing trip data from the mapBefore you can view trip data on the map, you must add the toolto the map tools menu (Enabling map tools, page 13).From the map, select > Trip Data.Customising the trip data fieldsBefore you can customise the data that appears in the trip datamap tool, you must add the trip data tool to the map tools menu(Enabling map tools, page 13).1 From the map, select > Trip Data.2 Select a trip data field.3 Select an option.The new trip data field appears in the trip data map tool.Viewing the trip information pageThe trip information page displays your speed and providesstatistics about your trip.NOTE: if you make frequent stops, leave the device turned on,so it can accurately measure elapsed time during the trip.From the map, select Speed.Viewing the trip logYour device keeps a trip log, which is a record of the path youhave travelled.1 Select Settings > Map & Vehicle > Map Layers.2 Select the Trip Log tick box.Resetting trip information1 From the map, select Speed.2 Select > Reset Field(s).3 Select an option:• When not navigating a route, select Select All to resetevery data field on the first page except the speedometer.• Select Reset Trip Data to reset the information on the tripcomputer.Using the Map 13
