56 GPSMAP 192C Owner’s ManualM AIN MENU > R OUTES TABEdit on Map—allows you to review and modify the routedisplayed for each point (waypoint or map item) on a map page.Use the pointer to insert a new route point on a route leg, reviewthe waypoint, or map item.To edit the route on the map:From the Route Review page, press MENU, highlightEdit on Map, and press ENTER.To edit a route point:Use the ROCKER to highlight a route waypoint, and pressMENU.To review a route point:Highlight the point, and press ENTER. Press ENTER againwhen finished.A pop-up menu of editing choices appear, with options forremoving, moving (user waypoints only), or adding turns to thebeginning or end of the route.To remove a route waypoint:Highlight the Remove option, and press ENTER.To move a route waypoint:1. Highlight the Move option, and press ENTER.2. Move the pointer to the new map location, and pressENTER.To add turns at the beginning or end of the route:1. Select the first (to add waypoints to the beginning of theroute) or last (to add waypoints to the end of the route)route waypoint with the map pointer, and press MENU.2. Highlight the Add option and press ENTER.3. Move the pointer to the new point or location, and pressENTER.4. If you are not inserting an existing waypoint, press ENTERto confirm the new waypoint.5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to insert additional waypoints, orpress QUIT to finish.The GPSMAP 192C’s route edit mode also allows you to insert anew route waypoint in any route leg using the map pointer.To insert a new waypoint between two existing routewaypoints:1. Use the ROCKER to select the leg you want to insert thenew waypoint in (the route line is now highlighted and adotted line appears when the leg is selected), and pressENTER.2. Move the pointer to the new map location, existingwaypoint, or map item (ADD is displayed below the arrowand the route lines move with the arrow), and press ENTER.3. If you are not inserting an existing point, press ENTER toconfirm the new waypoint.
