Press QUIT to exit the Map Information page.Map OrientationThere are three map orientation options: North Up orients the maplike a paper map. Track Up orients the map in the direction oftravel. Course Up orients the map so the direction of navigation isalways up. When using Track Up or Course Up, the North arrowindicates the orientation.To change the map orientation:1. On the Map Page, press MENU to open the options menu.2. Select Set Up Map, and press ENTER.3. Select the map orientation in the Orientation field on theGeneral tab.Zooming In and Out of the MapThe map display has 28 available zoom ranges from 20 ft to 800 nm(20 ft to 800 mi or 5 m to 1200 km). The map scale is controlled bythe IN and OUT keys, with the current scale shown at the bottomright of the data window.NOTE: The scale value represents the distance from one end ofthe scale bar ( ) to the other.To select a map scale (zoom in and out):Press the OUT key to zoom out, press the IN key to zoom in.The system has a built-in worldwide database, with more detailedcoverage available through the use of the BlueChart or MapSourcedata.
