Compass PageDuring active navigation, the Compass Page guides you to yourdestination with a graphic compass and a bearing pointer. Whenthe pointer is pointing straight up, you are heading directly to yourdestination.Compass Page in Marine ModeRotatingcompass ringCourse to steerndcatorCompass arrow Data fieldsThe middle of the page features a rotating compass ring that showsyour course over ground (track) while you are moving. Your presentcourse over ground is indicated at the top of the compass ring. Thedirection of the destination (bearing) relative to the course overground is indicated by an arrow in the middle of the compass ringand a course to steer “bug” on the outside of the compass ring. Thecourse to steer represents the direction to steer to get back to thecourse line.If the arrow points up, you are going directly to the waypoint. If thearrow points any direction other than up, turn toward the arrow untilit points up, and then continue in that direction.NOTE: You must be moving for the compass to accuratelyupdate and show your heading.Turning On the Compass PageThe Compass Page is on by default in Marine Mode but off bydefault in Automotive Mode.To show the Compass Page in Automotive Mode:1.
