42Programs of the Design Mixer Advenced ProfessionalYou select the desired program by pressing the assigned program button on the control panel(see: ›Knowing Your Design Mixer Advanced Professional‹). The corresponding programnumber is shown on the LCD screen. The processing time depends on the selected program.The Design Mixer Advanced Professional offers 5 pre-defined programs for processing yourfood and 3 auxiliary functions.Programs for Processing FoodProgramButtonDuration FunctionPULSEICE CRUSH60 seconds For crushing ice.Has an intelligent sensor to stop the motorwhen ice is done. This cycle is also ideal for processingother foods that need sudden bursts of power.SMOOTHIE 60 seconds Optimised to combine and aerate frozen and liquid ingre-dients together. The program uses a unique technique, thatblends the denser ingredients at lower speed, then increa-ses in speed as ingredients thicken. This will happen seve-ral times during operation. The program also circulates theingredients for maximum aeration and a creamy texture.GREENSMOOTHIE60 seconds Optimised to break down whole hard ingredients like fruits,leafy greens and seeds, and allows them to blend togetherwith other soft and liquid ingredients.FROZENDESSERT60 seconds To break down and combine frozen ingredients quickly. Usethe pusher for best results.SOUP 6 minutes Blend and heat ingredients to make soups. This pre-setprogram runs for 6 minutes. The program has a slow startto combine ingredients before running at high speed, andends with a couple of stirs to release any steam bubbles thatmay have formed in the soup.Auxiliary FunctionsAUTOCLEANRemoves most of the ingredients off the jugs walls and cutting blades. Add500 ml warm soapy water, and press the AUTO CLEAN button. For harderto clean, sticky or thick ingredients, add ½ teaspoon of dish liquid detergentfor extra cleaning power. For best results, run the clean cycle immediatelyafter use.Pause ( ) Pauses and holds a program for up to 2 minutes. Press the pause buttonagain to continue. Pause is also activated, if the jug is removed from baseduring use. Replace the jug, and press the pause button to resume.IMPORTANT: If the appliance is running and you press a different program button, it willswitch to that program without stopping.
