Operate according to the instructions ›Careand cleaning‹.AssemBling the APPliAncewArning: The work space has to be easily accessible, solid, even, dry and ofsufficient size. The mincer should only be set up on a firm level work surface. Neverplace the appliance close to the edge of the working area. Ensure that the powersupply cable does not hang down from the work surface as it could be easily pulled,particularly by small children, thereby causing serious accidents. DO NOT put anycloth or napkins underneath the appliance to avoid endangering by fire and electricshocks. NEVER place the appliance on paper towels or uneven working areas. Theair has to able to circulate.imPortAnt: Always ensure that the plug is not con-nected to the power outlet before assembling or disas-sembling the appliance. Place the mincer on a flat, drysurface such as a bench top.AssemBling For mincing1. Loosen the screw plug on the right side of the mincerby turning it counterclockwise until you can fit theslim end of the worm housing all the way into theopening for the drive shaft. The opening of the wormhousing should be upright (picture A). The worm hou-sing is correctly mounted when the worm housing isflush with the motor housing. You should not be ableto see the slim end of the worm housing anymore.Turn the screw clockwise for tightening. Do not useforce and be careful to not overwind the screw thread.2. Insert the worm with the longer, narrower end intothe worm housing and turn slightly until it is securelyseated in the worm housing (picture B). Make surethat the worm is placed completely in the inside ofthe worm housing.If necessary turn the worm a little bit to make it fit. Ifmounted correctly only round about 9 mm of the axisof the worm are visible outside of the worm housing.ABC
