The on-screen alert for this alarmwill not be displayed again until the condition changes to false (e.g. voltage returns tonormal) and then becomes true again. The Gecko uses a data ring buffer, which means it will overwrite old data with new datawhen the memory card has only 2% storage remaining. A Low Memory alert will be raisedwhen less than 4% of storage remains.TelemetryThe Gecko has a communication port to allow streaming of continuous data to a remotecomputer. Data is sent using a custom serial protocol that communicates with our “LiveStream” application (or eqServer) which is used for data acquisition, display, remoterecorder setup, and remote firmware upgrades.Communications> Mode: ContinuousDevice: 3G modemTCP Socket PortDestination IP/DNSCarrier APNThe Gecko can stream data to a remote computer with or without an SD card present. IfTelemetry is enabled on start-up and no SD card is present, it will connect and stream data.If an SD card is removed or fails during operation, telemetry will continue regardless.
