All connections must betorqued to specification during installation. Refer toSpecifications, Hydraulic Hose and Fitting TorqueSpecifications.1 Disconnect the battery pack from the machine.Electrocution/burn hazard.Contact with electrically chargedcircuits could result in death orserious injury. Remove all rings,watches and other jewelry.2 Tag and disconnect the hydraulic power unitcables at the motor controller.3 Disconnect the filter head from the filter headmounting bracket. Rotate the filter out andaway from the hydraulic power unit.4 Remove the hydraulic power unit retainingfasteners.5 Tag, disconnect and plug the hydraulic tankhard line from the pump. Cap the fitting on thepump.6 Tag, disconnect and plug the high pressurehose from the pump. Cap the fitting on thepump.Bodily injury hazard. Sprayinghydraulic oil can penetrate andburn skin. Loosen hydraulicconnections very slowly to allowthe oil pressure to dissipategradually. Do not allow oil tosquirt or spray.7 Remove the hydraulic power unit from themachine.8 Remove the pump mounting bolts. Carefullyremove the pump.Tip-over hazard. After replacingthe hydraulic pump, it is critical toreturn the function speedsettings to original factoryspecifications. Failure to restorethe machine to original factoryspecifications could cause themachine to tip over resulting indeath or serious injury.
