The horn is activated at the platformcontrols and sounds at the ground as a warning toground personnel. An improperly functioning hornwill prevent the operator from alerting groundpersonnel of hazards or unsafe conditions.1 Turn the key switch to platform control andpull out the Emergency Stop button to theon position at both the ground andplatform controls.2 Push down the horn button at the platformcontrols.Result: The horn should sound.CHECKLIST B PROCEDURES
