All connections must betorqued to specification during installation. Refer toSpecifications, Hydraulic Hose and Fitting TorqueSpecifications.All Models:1 Open the access door above the hydraulictank.2 Disconnect the battery from the machine.Electrocution/burn hazard.Contact with electrically chargedcircuits could result in death orserious injury. Remove all rings,watches and other jewelry.3 Remove the fasteners securing the engineaccess cover from the rear of the machine.Remove the cover from the machine.4 Perkins models: Open the engine accesscover at the tank side of the machine. Locatethe fuel supply line where it is attached to thefuel filter/water separator.5 Tag, disconnect and plug the fuel supply hoseat the fuel filter/water separator. Cap the fitting.6 Locate the fuel return hose connection justabove the fuel filter/water separator.7 Tag, disconnect and plug the fuel return hoseat the fuel filter/water separator. Cap the fitting
