The inspection is designed to discover ifanything is apparently wrong with a machine before itis put into service.A damaged or modified machine must never be used.If damage or any variation from factory deliveredcondition is discovered, the machine must be taggedand removed from service.Repairs to the machine may only be made by aqualified service technician, according to themanufacturer's specifications.Scheduled maintenance inspections shall beperformed by qualified service technicians, accordingto the manufacturer's specifications and therequirements listed in the responsibilities manual.
