Managing Your Device 4-3Battery Hot SwappingYour device supports battery hot swapping. You can swap the batterywithout turning off the powerFollow this procedure to perform hot batteryswapping.1. Press and hold the power button for at least3 seconds to open the Power Options menu.Then tap Battery Swap.2. In the dialog box that pops up, tap Yes.3. When the Charge/Notification indicatorbegins to flash in green, replace the batterywithin 2 minutes. (Refer to “Installing theSIM Card and Battery” in Chapter 1 forinformation on battery installation.)4. When finished, you can press the powerbutton to resume operation.CAUTION: If the swapping time exceeds 2 minutes, the system willautomatically shut down and any unsaved data might be lost.
