The test resultsare displayed within five seconds.The cable status can be:• normal, if the cable is in good condition.• abnormal, if any fault other than a short or open circuit is detected.• abnormal (open), if an open circuit is detected.• abnormal (short), if a short circuit is detected.• failure, if the detection fails.If the cable connection is normal, the displayed cable length is the total length of the cable. If the cableconnection has a fault, it is the length from the local port to the faulty point.NOTE:• Optical interfaces do not support this command.• If the link of an Ethernet interface is up, testing its cable connection will cause the link to go down andthen up.• The test result is for reference only.
