Wear an ESD wrist strap and make sure it makes good skin contact and is reliably grounded.2. Unpack the DC power cord, correctly orient the connector at one end of the cable with theDC-input power receptacle on the power module, and insert the connector into the powerreceptacle (see callout 1 in Figure 35).The power receptacle is foolproof. If you cannot insert the connector into the receptacle,re-orient the connector rather than use excessive force to push it in.3. Tighten the screws on the connector with a flat-blade screwdriver to secure the connector in theDC-input power receptacle (see callout 2 in Figure 35).4. Connect the two wires at the other end of the power cord to a –48 VDC power source or anRPS.
