22Troubleshooting flowchartFigure 7 Troubleshooting SFP+ port failureSolutionTo resolve the problem:1. Verify that the optical fibers and transceiver modules on the two ends match and are not faulty byreplacing them with correct and matching optical fibers and transceiver modules.2. Execute the display irf configuration command to verify that the port is not bound to an IRF port.If the SFP+ port is bound to an IRF port, it supports only 10 Gbps transceiver modules. Therefore,it does not come up when a 1000 Mbps SFP module is plugged.{ If the SFP+ port is bound to an IRF port, use the undo port group interface interface-namecommand to remove the binding between the SFP+ port and the IRF port and re-plug in the SFPmodule to the SFP+ port.{ If the SFP+ port is not bound to an IRF port, perform step 1.3. If the problem persists, run the display diagnostic-information command to collect diagnosticinformation, and contact H3C Support.Related commandsThis section lists the commands that you might use for troubleshooting an SFP+ port.Commands Descriptiondisplay diagnostic-information Displays the operating statistics for multiplefeature modules in the systemSFP+ port not coming upConnect the two ends using matchingoptical fibers and transceiver modulesUnbind the SFP+ port from the IRFport and re-plug in the SFP transceivermoduleYesYesNoNoEndYesYesNoNoTransceiver modules andoptical fibers match?SFP+ port boundto an IRF port?Resolved?Resolved?Collect diagnostic informationContact H3C support
