Open the water tap on site.Only fill water at maximally50 °C!On reaching the maximum fill level, thefloat switch in the fresh water tank clos-es the solenoid valve automatically.Check the float switch regularlyfor soiling! 6. Close the water tap on site.7. Close the ball cock (Fig. 28/2).8. Disconnect the filling hose(Fig. 28/3).9. Close the rear doors on the left andright as well as the rear panel frame(Fig. 21/7-9).10.Close the cap (Fig. 27/2) on thefresh water tank.11.Mix cleaning agent in accordancewith the manufacturer's instructions.12.Close the lid (Fig. 27/2) on the freshwater tank.5.5.2 Emptying the fresh water tankIf the vehicle is to be left unused for alonger period, the fresh water tank(Fig. 27/4) should be emptied.1. Park the vehicle so that the waterdraining hose (Fig. 27/8) can be po-sitioned over a drain in the floor.2. Open the left and right rear doors.3. Open the rear panel frame.4. Detach the fresh water draining hose(Fig. 27/8) and lower it slowly.5. Unscrew the screw cap (Fig. 27/7).The quantity drained can be regulat-ed by turning the screw cap and piv-oting the cap open fully, if necessary.6. When the fresh water tank has beencompletely emptied, screw the capshut again and attach the draininghose again.7. Close the rear panel frame.8. Close the left and right rear doors.When disposing of the wastewater containing the cleaningagent, observe all applicablelegal regulations.5.5.3 Cleaning the draining hosecap• The screw cap (Fig. 27/7) at the endof the draining hose (Fig. 27/8)should be cleaned at regular inter-vals.• Lubricate the O-ring lightly, if neces-sary.5.5.4 Cleaning the fresh water filterThe fresh water supply is equipped witha filter (Fig. 27/5) which must becleaned if dirt appears on the container.This is located on the left-hand side ofthe vehicle at the height of the brushesbehind the side panel.1. Close the ball cock (Fig. 27/6) to pre-vent fresh water being supplied fromthe tank.2. Unscrew the container by hand andpull the sieve insert out downwards.3. Clean both parts with water and re-assemble them.
