This configuration uses the two ethernetports separately, one for internet access and the other one for TCP/IP based fieldbus communicationwith PLC/SCADA. To change the Ethernet port configuration and use the port for network sharing,refer to Share the LAN on page 25.1. Use a user-supplied ethernet cable (M12 to RJ45) to connect the controller to a device withinternet connection. Refer to Electrical connectors and fittings on page 13.Note: Connect the ethernet cable to the right ethernet connector.2. Connect the controller to a PC or laptop. Open the Web server application. Refer to Web serverapplication on page 22.3. Go to the Ethernet configuration page and configure the LAN connection.Note: An internet connection is not necessary to complete this configuration.4. Open the web browser on the PC. Enter the IP address that follows to connect to the SC4200ccontroller: "http://192.168.165.30"24 English
