Other connection options14.1 Connection via LINE OUTYou can connect your loudspeaker, for example, to the radio'sanalogue audio output and play its audio signals viathe loudspeaker.Note• Switch the radio off before connecting a device to it.• Do not bend or crush the cable.• For playback via the analogue audio connection, connecta 3.5 mm RCA cable to the radio's analogue audiooutput (5) and the loudspeaker's analogue audio input.• Press [POWER] (2) to switch the radio on.• The radio's audio signal is now output via the loudspeaker.14.2 Connection via headphone jackYou can connect your headphones to the radio's headphonejack and play its audio signals via the headphones.Warning – High volumes• High sound pressure level!• There is a risk of hearing damage.• To prevent hearing loss, avoid listening at high volumelevels for long periods.• Always keep the volume at a reasonablelevel. Loud volumes, even over shortperiods, can cause hearing loss.Note• Reduce the volume of the radio.• Switch the radio off before connecting headphones to it.• Note the warning and safety information included inthe operating instructions of your headphones.• Do not bend or crush the cable.• For playback via the headphone jack, connect the 3.5 mmRCA plug from your headphones to the headphone jack (3)on the radio.• Press [POWER] (2) to switch the radio on.• The radio's audio signal is now output via the headphones.15.
