Touch the sensor (13).The symbol “Ј” appears on the heat settingdisplay of the selected cooking zone/area.3. To switch off the heat-retaining functionagain, touch the corresponding cookingzones/areas sensor and set the desiredheat setting with the slider sensor (14) (toswitch off: heat setting “0”).Switching off individualcooking zone/area1. Touch the sensor of the cooking zone/area that you would like to switch off.2. Touch the slider sensor (14) at the leftend or swipe your finger left over the slid-er sensor until the heat setting display “0”appears.After a few seconds the heat setting dis-play changes to “H” or “– –”.CAUTIONRisk of burns!■ Always switch off a cooking zone/area using the sensors only; neverby removing the cookware from thecooking zone/area. Otherwise thecooking zone/area will be reactivatedas soon as a pot or other object madeof ferromagnetic metal is placed ontop.■ Do not place objects on cookingzones/areas that are not switchedoff. There is a risk that the cookingzone/area could be activated and theobject heated.Automatic protection settingsThe hob has a range of protection settingsthat warn of danger and protect the appliancefrom damage.Residual heat displayDuring cooking, the heat from the pot is trans-ferred to the glass ceramic and the cookingzone/area becomes hot. If you switch off thecooking zone/area or the entire hob, the re-sidual heat symbol “H” appears in the heatsetting display of a cooking zone/area that isstill hot.
