When making speaker connections alwaysmake certain to maintain correct polarity by connectingthe color-coded (white for front left and red for frontright) (+) terminals on the AVR 135 to the red (+)terminals on the speakers and the black (–) terminalson the AVR 135 to the black (–) terminals on thespeakers. See page 12 for more information onspeaker polarity.¶ Surround Back Speaker Outputs: Thesespeaker terminals are normally used to power the sur-round back speaker in a 6.1-channel system. Connectthese outputs to the matching + and – terminals onyour surround back channel speaker.
