In these cases it’s a good idea to edit the reaction of theunit into the corresponding line of the table or to set up a separate list.When a button is pressed on the AVR remote, the red light under the Input•Selector CW for the product being operated should flash briefly. If theDevice Control Selector flashes for some but not all buttons for a particularproduct, it does NOT indicate a problem with the remote, but rather thatno function is programmed for the button being pushed.punch-through programmingThe AVR 260 remote’s punch-through feature allows you to select onecomponent for the remote to operate, while simultaneously setting certaingroups of controls to operate another component. For example, while usingthe AVR to control surround modes and other audio functions, you mayoperate the transport controls of your DVD player. Or while using the remoteto control video functions on your TV, you may use your cable box to changechannels.To program punch-through control while operating any device:Press and hold the Source Selector (or AVR selector) for the main device1.the remote will be operating. The Source Selector will light, go dark andthen light up again, indicating the remote is in Program mode and thatyou may release the button.Select the type of punch-through programming.2.To program channel control punch-through, press the Channel Upa)Button.To program transport control punch-through, press the Play Button.b)Press the Source Selector for the device whose channel or transport3.controls you would like to be active while operating the device youselected in the first step. The Source Selector will flash to confirm theprogramming.For example, if you wish to watch your TV while changing channels using yourcable box, first press the TV Button until it lights. To do this, it is possible to reset the remote to the original factorydefaults and command codes by following these steps. Note, however, thatonce the remote is reset, all commands or codes that you have entered will beerased and will need to be re-entered:Press the TV Device Button1. C and the "0" number Button Jsimultaneously. In this case, recycling or recoverycenters handle the dismantling of the product and the removal of thebattery. If, for any reason, it becomes necessary to replace such a battery, thisprocedure must be performed by authorized service centers.
