In normaloperation, the current surround mode name will appearon this line.C Multiroom Indicator: This indicator lights whenthe multiroom system is active. Note that it will remainlit when the multiroom system is in use even when themain room system is in the Standby mode and allother indicators are dark. (See page 31 for moreinformation on the Multiroom system.)D OSD Indicator: When the OSD system is in use,this indicator lights to remind you that the other indica-tors in this display do not function when the On-ScreenDisplay is being used.E Speaker/Channel Input Indicators: These indica-tors are multipurpose, indicating either the speaker typeselected for each channel or the number of channelsavailable from the input source. The left, center, right,surround and surround back speaker indicators arecomposed of overlapping ovals, while the subwoofer isrepresented by a single box labeled “LFE”. The centeroval lights when a “Small” speaker is selected, and theouter oval lights when “Large” speakers are selected.When none of the indicators are lit for a specific chan-nel, no speaker has been selected at that position. (Seepage 19 for more information on configuring speakers.)The indicators are positioned to correspond to the inputchannels. For standard analog inputs, only the top leftand right indicators will light, indicating a stereo input.When a digital source is playing, the indicators will lightto display the channels being received at the digitalinput. When the indicators flash, the digital input hasbeen interrupted.F Upper Display Line: Depending on the receiver’sstatus, a variety of messages will appear here.
