It achievesthe hi gh sp eed op eration si milar to e quivalent B ipolarSchottky TTL while maintaining the CMOS low power dissi-pation.The internal circuit is composed of 3 stages including bufferoutput, which provide high noise immunity and stable out-put. An input protection circuit ensures that 0V to 7V can beapplied to the input pins without regard to the supply volt-age. This device can be used to interface 5V to 3V systemsand two su pply systems such as battery back up. This cir-cuit prevents device destruction due to mismatched supplyand input voltages.Features High Speed: tPD 3.8 ns (typ) at V CC 5V High noise immunity: V NIH VNIL 28% V CC (Min) Power down protection is provided on all inputs Low Noise: VOLP 0.4V (typ) Low power dissipation: ICC 2 PA (Max) @ T A 25qC Pin and function compatible with 74HC04Ordering Code:Surface mount packages are also available on Tape and Reel. Specify by appending the suffix letter “X” to the ordering code.Pb-Free package per JEDEC J-STD-020B.Note 1: “_NL” indicates Pb-Free package (per JEDEC J-STD-020B).
