Eachsubmenu can be selected by moving the blue barwith the KL Buttons 9 until the requestedsubmenu is highlighted and pressing the EnterButton 6 to confirm. The selected submenuwill be marked by a light blue circle behind thesubmenu text line.Figure 2cPicture CalibrationThe first submenu is the Picture CalibrationSubmenu that allows you to calibrate the pictureof your TV. With the TV Set Up Menu on thescreen, press the L Button 9 until the PictureCalibration text line is highlighted. Press Enter6 to select, followed by pressing the N Button9 to access the different calibration settings.Contrast: The optimal contrast setting willdepend of your preference and the surroundinglight in the TV room. Should you wish to changethis setting, press the Enter Button 6 once it ishighlighted. The TV Set Up Menu will be replacedtemporarily by a Mini Bar on the right top of thescreen, allowing you to verify the changes madeto the contrast setting in real time. To change thesetting press any of the N or M Buttons 9 untilthe right contrast setting has been reached. Pressthe Enter Button 6 to return to the calibrationprocess or the Red Button N to return to yourTV channel.Figure 2dBrightness: The next line in the picture calibra-tion process is the Brightness Setting. Shouldyou wish to change this setting, press the EnterButton 6 once it is highlighted. To change thesetting press any of the N or M Buttons 9 untilthe right color balance setting has been reached.Press the Enter Button 6 to return to thecalibration process or the Red Button N toreturn to your TV channel.Picture Emission: The next line in the picturecalibration process is the Picture EmissionSetting. This setting adjusts the intensity of thelight of the display. Brightly lit rooms will get bestvideo performance with a Picture Emission set to"Light". In dark rooms, the "Dark" settingshould be chosen. Should you wish to changethis setting, press the Enter Button 6 once it ishighlighted. The TV Set Up Menu will be replacedtemporarily by a Mini Bar on the right top of thescreen, allowing you to verify the changes madeto the picture emission setting in real time. Tochange the setting press any of the N or MButtons 9 until the right picture emission set-ting has been reached. Press the Enter Button6 to return to the calibration process or theRed Button N to return to your TV channel.Dynamic Noise Compensation: The next linein the picture calibration process is the DynamicNoise Compensation Setting. With this settingyou can compensate for possible noise that isdetected in any analog video signal. Should youwish to change this setting, press the EnterButton 6 once it is highlighted. The TV Set UpMenu will be replaced temporarily by a Mini Baron the right top of the screen, allowing you toverify the changes made to the dynamic noisecompensation setting in real time. To change thesetting press any of the N or M Buttons 9 untilthe right dynamic noise compensation settinghas been reached. Press the Enter Button 6 toreturn to the calibration process or the RedButton N to return to your TV channel.Aspect Ratio: The next line in the picturecalibration process is the Aspect Ratio Setting,defining in what format you watch a specificvideo input. Should you wish to change this set-ting, press the Enter Button 6 once it is high-lighted. The TV Set Up Menu will be replacedtemporarily by a Mini Bar on the right top of thescreen, allowing you to verify the changes madeto the aspect ratio setting in real time. To changethe setting press any of the N or M Buttons 9until the right settings has been reached. Pressthe Enter Button 6 to return to the calibrationprocess or the Red Button N to return to yourTV channel. The aspect ratio can also be changeddirectly (and individually for each input) bypressing the Screen Format Button .The second line in this menu depends on yourchoice of TV tuner. If you have selected a DVB tuner,the DVB-T Setup line will appear, allowing you toaccess the DVB T system Settings Menu, asdescribed on page 22-23.If you use the analog TV tuner, the Automatic Searchand Manual Search menu lines will appear.Figure 2e
