In addition, a few minutesspent learning the functions of the variouscontrols will enable you to take advantageof all the power and refinement the HKTS 7is able to deliver.If you have any questions about this prod-uct, its installation or operation, pleasecontact your dealer, the best local sourceof information.Description and FeaturesThe HKTS 7 is a six-piece home theaterspeaker system that includes a 10-inch,100-watt, bass-reflex powered subwoofer;four identical, 2-way satellite speakersfor use in the left and right front and rearspeaker positions; a voice-matched,dedicated, dual-driver center speaker; shelfstands and wall-mount brackets for thefour satellites; and all of the speakercables you need to connect your speakersto your receiver or preamp/processor andamplifier. The speaker cables and speakersall use a color-coding system to conformto the CEA standard. The color-codingsystem minimizes confusion, especiallywhen the HKTS 7 system is used with aHarman Kardon receiver.The HKTS 7 subwoofer is easy to connectto your system, since it’s equipped with aspecial subwoofer input for use with equip-ment that has a dedicated subwoofer con-nection that carries a low-frequency output.It also includes stereo speaker-level inputsand outputs for connection to olderreceivers and processors that do not havea line-level subwoofer output. Other conve-niences include a level control, high-cut(low-pass) filter switch and phase switch forfine-tuning bass response to suit your listeningenvironment and taste, and an efficientswitching system that senses the presence ofan audio signal and automatically switchesthe unit from Standby mode to Active mode.Shelf stands and wall-mount brackets areincluded for the satellite speakers, andoptional HTFS 2 floor stands are availableseparately from your Harman Kardon dealer.Harman Kardon invented the high-fidelityreceiver fifty years ago.
