Configuring the serverThe following configuration programs come with the server:v Configuration/Setup Utility programThe Configuration/Setup Utility program is part of the basic input/output system(BIOS). Use it to change interrupt request (IRQ) settings, change thestartup-device sequence, set the date and time, and set passwords. Forinformation about using this program, see “Using the Configuration/Setup Utilityprogram.”v Boot Menu programThe Boot Menu program is part of the BIOS. Use it to override the startupsequence that is set in the Configuration/Setup Utility program and temporarilyassign a device to be first in the startup sequence.v IBM ServerGuide Setup and Installation CDThe ServerGuide program provides software-setup tools and installation toolsthat are designed for the server. Use this CD during the installation of the serverto configure basic hardware features, such as an integrated SAS controller withRAID capabilities, and to simplify the installation of your operating system.
