Lift the back plate out of the server slightly; then, disconnect the powercables and remove the back plate.8. Gently insert the controller card into the SAS/SATA controller cardconnector on the system board (see the illustration on page “System-boardinternal connectors” on page 12 for the location of the connector) while youalign the holes in the card with the two plastic alignment pins on thesystem board.c. Press the controller card firmly onto the alignment pins until the card clicksinto place. Make sure that the top of each alignment pin has expanded tohold the controller card securely in place.d. Push the controller card toward the rear of the server, fully into theconnector, until the side tabs on the connector rest in the side notches ofthe controller card.Chapter 2.
